About AIIMS Delhi

All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 1956. The college was given the status of an autonomous institution through an Act of Parliament. The purpose of the college establishment was to serve the nation for excellence in all the sectors of the healthcare. The college has facilities for both teaching and patient care.
The college mainly conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college also awards its own degree. The college provides the Teaching and research in 42 different disciplines.AIIMS leads the research section in the field of healthcare by having more than 600 research publications with its faculty and researchers in a year. The college also runs a Nursing college which trains students for B.Sc.[Hons.] [Nursing post-certificate] degrees.

Entrance Exams for Admission:

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be done two times per year i.e. in January and July.

For DM course, the selection is based on a computer-based screening test followed by Departmental Clinical/practical Assessment test.

For MD course, the selection is based on an All-India entrance examination.

Placements of Aiims Delhi

There is no internship and stipend in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, [AIIMS] New Delhi.

The average salary is Rs. 7.5 lakhs per annum.
